i could cry because she was having all these flashbacks to when things were simpler, when all she knew was her humanity, and now she’s dead… but she’ll come back as a vampire, something she’s never wanted to be

I mean no disrespect because I do like Stefan even though I don’t ship Stelena in the slightest but he let Elena die. Yes, she told him to save Matt and Stefan says that he respects her decisions but that is a decision that you can ignore if he truly loved her. Damon wouldn’t have listened to her and would do everything he could to save her. He will always choose her.

After watching tonight’s episode, I realized that Stelena are not the epic love story of this show. Maybe they never were. Delena have been the epic love story all along. And Damon sure as hell isn’t an obstacle for Stelena. Stefan is the obstacle for Delena.
